Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and perform EKGs per protocols
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications professionally
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, sanitized, and compliant with OSHA standards
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialty departments
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced medical setting
- BLS/CPR certification and current Washington state MA credentials
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competence
- Ability to multitask efficiently in high-pressure situations
