Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with history taking and taking vital signs (BP, HR, RR, Temp).
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications as directed by providers, and perform phlebotomy procedures.
  • Assist providers during patient visits and procedures to ensure a smooth clinical workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Instruct patients on medication usage, diets, and post-procedure care instructions.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized according to strict health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is required.
