Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare and administer medications as directed
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Manage patient records and ensure documentation accuracy
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- State certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Previous experience in a clinical setting
