Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and maintain efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Assist with inventory management and sterile technique maintenance
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
