Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vital sign measurements (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and record accurate data in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Greet patients and prepare them for examinations by assisting with history taking and updating medical records.
  • Assist providers during patient visits, including drawing blood, administering injections, and performing basic lab tests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in accordance with health and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, manage prescription refills, and communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare staff.
  • Handle patient inquiries professionally and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high patient satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Previous experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
