Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate medical records
- Prepare and administer medications per physician protocols
- Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Flexibility for rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Ohio state license in good standing
