Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for exams and accurately record vital signs
- Perform basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Manage electronic health records and patient documentation
- Ensure examination rooms are sanitized and fully stocked
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
