Responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify insurance information upon arrival.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Take vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform basic phlebotomy as required.
- Process patient charts and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA or RMA is preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as scheduled.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
