Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, medical histories, and patient screenings.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean clinical environment.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures, including phlebotomy and minor procedures.
- Manage patient intake, registration, and check-out processes efficiently.
- Fax and submit insurance claims accurately using our EHR system.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Must be available to work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
