As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care during their visits.
Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient rooming.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and charts.
- Sanitize medical equipment and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and processing insurance.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
