Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient assessments, vital signs, and EKG procedures
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Conduct telehealth patient consultations via HIPAA-compliant platforms
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Assist with lab specimen collection and processing
- Coordinate patient education materials for chronic conditions
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Basic phlebotomy and EKG certification
- Strong telehealth platform experience (Zoom Health, Doxy.me)
- Texas state license in good standing
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
