Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient intake, including vitals, weight, and medical history collection.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision and care.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain a clean clinical environment.
- Administer injections, perform basic EKGs, and assist with phlebotomy as needed.
- Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times and maximize satisfaction.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, processing insurance, and updating electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
