Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient intake, including vitals, weight, and medical history collection.
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision and care.
  • Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain a clean clinical environment.
  • Administer injections, perform basic EKGs, and assist with phlebotomy as needed.
  • Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times and maximize satisfaction.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, processing insurance, and updating electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
