Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation with precision
- Collect and process lab specimens while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday overflow
