As a Medical Assistant on our weekend team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive high-quality care outside of standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, health assessments, and screenings for patients.
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures.
- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and securely.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with basic lab duties, including phlebotomy if certified.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as necessary.
