Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage patient records using EMR systems
- Coordinate appointments and maintain inventory of medical supplies
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Texas Medical Assistant certification or RMA/CMA
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Fluent in English/Spanish bilingual skills strongly preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings
