Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Manage patient records accurately using our EMR system
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications professionally
- Collect and process lab specimens for testing
- Assist in maintaining inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
