Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic health records (EHR)
  • Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic laboratory tests
  • Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle phone triage
  • Ensure exam rooms are stocked, sanitized, and ready for patient care
  • Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with healthcare team

Qualifications

  • Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting
