Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records and patient documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pennsylvania Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (if required for travel)
