Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, injections, and EKGs
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and insurance verification
- Conduct basic lab tests and phlebotomy procedures
- Ensure sterile exam environments and equipment maintenance
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certificate or associate degree
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced medical settings
- Washington State MA certification required
- Background check and drug screen clearance
