Your Mission: You will be the vital bridge between our patients and our providers, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to discharge.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with examination and treatment procedures.
- Perform basic life support (BLS) and assist providers during medical procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Administer medications as directed by providers and document all treatments accurately.
- Manage patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle multi-line phone systems professionally.
- Maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification (where applicable).
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine patient-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting patients or equipment as needed.
