Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure exam rooms are sanitized and stocked.
- Draw blood and collect lab specimens for testing.
- Manage patient records electronically and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and communicate with patients via phone.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-provider clinic setting.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
