Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomyMaintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Administer injections and medications as per protocols
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (must be current)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
