Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as EKGs, blood draws, and urine analysis.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including insurance verification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized examination room environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medical protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
