Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals checks accurately and efficiently.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision.
- Prepare and maintain medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized according to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with electronic health records systems is a plus.
