Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and measurements.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Manage and maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Instruct patients on medication preparation, diet, and exercise.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment.
- Assist with laboratory tasks, including specimen collection and processing.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, or similar).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours when necessary.
