Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures with a focus on patient comfort.
- Perform routine lab tests, phlebotomy, and EKGs accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in our EHR system.
- Handle patient inquiries, verify insurance information, and ensure a welcoming reception area.
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred; experience is a plus.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients or equipment as needed.
