Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs checks and patient screenings.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness and sterilization standards are met.
- Administer injections, medications, and vaccinations as directed by providers.
- Manage patient intake, including scheduling appointments and updating medical records accurately in the EHR system.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and answer questions.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification from an accredited institution.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting (preferred).
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
