Responsibilities
- Coordinate telehealth appointments and virtual patient intake via secure EHR systems
- Perform remote clinical tasks including vital sign monitoring and symptom assessment
- Manage patient scheduling, insurance verification, and medical documentation
- Assist providers with prescription refill coordination and lab result follow-ups
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all digital communications and patient data
- Support infection control protocols during on-site clinical rotations
- Train patients on home care procedures and medication management
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) with Texas license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital or urgent care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and telehealth platforms
- Strong remote communication skills with ability to triage patient inquiries
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy experience required
- Ability to travel 1-2 days weekly for on-site clinical duties
- Proven track record of maintaining HIPAA compliance standards
