Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and initial screenings to ensure accuracy.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer injections, vaccines, and perform basic lab tests as directed.
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and prescription refills.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA).
- CPR and BLS certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
