Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage using ESI protocols
- Prioritize cases using standardized severity scales
- Document clinical encounters in EMR systems
- Coordinate with physicians and ancillary departments
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant communication standards
- Participate in emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BSN degree (or enrollment in accredited program)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Commitment to continuous learning
- Pass background check and drug screening
