Your Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant, you will be the face of our clinic, ensuring our patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk in.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height measurements accurately.
  • Room patients efficiently, documenting patient history and chief complaints into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and minor procedures.
  • Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage inventory of medical supplies.
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks, including phlebotomy (blood draws) and urine analysis.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, confirm appointments via phone, and handle patient inquiries professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment for all patients and staff.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential is highly preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is required.
