- Review and process medical claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service
- Manage denial resolution and appeal processes
- Ensure compliance with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards
- Collaborate with providers to document medical necessity
- Generate monthly billing reports for financial analysis
- Train staff on billing protocols and software updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen EMR systems
- Strong knowledge of COBRA, EOBs, and remittance processing
- Ability to resolve complex insurance denials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
