Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits before service delivery
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve claim denials
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Collaborate with clinical staff on documentation accuracy
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports
- Train new staff on billing protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Proficient in Epic and Medisoft software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage high-volume claims efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
