Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit medical claims using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS systems
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies with insurance carriers
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery
- Conduct thorough claim audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment plans

Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
