Responsibilities
- Submit clean claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers
- Resolve claim denials through appeals and documentation
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits coverage
- Post payments and adjustments in EHR systems
- Conduct regular AR aging analysis and follow-ups
- Stay current with CPT/ICD-10 coding updates
- Collaborate with providers to resolve billing discrepancies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA and billing regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with denial management workflows
- Ability to work independently in hybrid environment
