Responsibilities
- Accurately process medical claims using provided specialized software
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Resolve billing discrepancies and claim denials
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Generate monthly reports for financial analysis
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for documentation
- Track accounts receivable and aging reports
Qualifications
- 2+ years medical billing experience (CPC/CBCS preferred)
- Proficiency with provided billing software (EHR experience)
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with provided equipment
