- Accurately process medical claims and insurance reimbursements using provided billing systems
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits coverage through insurance portals
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies with payers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and coding standards
- Generate monthly reports on billing performance metrics
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure documentation accuracy
- Stay updated on healthcare billing regulations and industry changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Proficiency in medical billing software (we provide all equipment)
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or CPC preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes and reimbursement methodologies
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
