Responsibilities
- Review and verify medical records to ensure accuracy before billing.
- Submit accurate claims to insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial).
- Assign appropriate medical codes (CPT, ICD-10) to diagnoses and procedures.
- Follow up on denied or rejected claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Communicate with patients regarding outstanding balances and payment plans.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Previous healthcare or administrative experience is a plus but not required due to our paid training.
