Responsibilities
- Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits for all services
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve claim denials
- Conduct regular audits of coding and billing documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge accuracy
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership
- Stay current with ICD-10/CPT coding updates and payer policies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a clinical setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and medical billing software
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial payers
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management preferred
