Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit medical claims using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on claim denials
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for documentation clarification
- Generate monthly reports on billing metrics and performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in medical billing software (Epic, Medisoft, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
