Responsibilities
- Accurately code medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Submit clean claims to insurance companies and government payers
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits eligibility
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through appeals
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations

Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certificate in medical billing/coding
- 2+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes
