- Follow up on denied/underpaid claims with corrective resubmission
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Use EHR systems (Epic/Cerner) for billing documentation
- Analyze accounts receivable reports for resolution
- Collaborate with clinical teams for charge capture accuracy
Qualifications
- 2+ years medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential preferred
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Experience with claim scrubbers (e.g., Change Healthcare)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet weekly billing deadlines
