Responsibilities
- Accurately code medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10 and CPT systems
- Submit clean claims to insurance companies and government payers
- Resolve claim denials and patient billing inquiries
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Utilize Epic EHR system for documentation and billing
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure coding accuracy
- Track accounts receivable and aging reports
Qualifications
