Responsibilities
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information for accurate billing.
- Process medical claims (ICD-10, CPT) and submit them to insurance carriers electronically.
- Follow up on denied or unpaid claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and insurance representatives regarding account status.
Qualifications
