Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and enter patient demographic and insurance information.
- Submit and follow up on medical claims with insurance carriers (Blue Cross, Aetna, etc.).
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding outstanding balances and insurance questions.
- Stay current with changing healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in our paid training curriculum.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
