Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/check-out procedures using Epic EMR system
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical departments
- Verify insurance coverage and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential files
- Assist with medical forms processing and data entry
- Coordinate with clinical staff for patient flow optimization
- Handle patient phone calls and triage urgent requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year medical reception experience
- Proficiency with EMR/medical software (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) preferred
