Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for assigned patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and execute patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient information and care delivery using electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; specialty certifications preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic)
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
