Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and registration using Epic EMR systems
- Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate billing procedures
- Handle confidential patient information with HIPAA-compliant protocols
- Coordinate multi-specialty appointments and diagnostic referrals
- Assist providers with clinical support tasks including specimen processing
- Resolve patient inquiries with empathy and clear communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical front desk experience required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration preferred
- Fluency in Spanish highly desirable
