Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk calendar system.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays accurately.
- Answer incoming calls with a professional, empathetic, and clear demeanor.
- Update and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or front desk assistant is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
