Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, check-in/check-out processes, and appointment scheduling
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and triage urgent matters
- Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate patient records
- Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
- Prepare charts, correspondence, and medical documentation
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- 1+ years medical office or customer service experience
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
